ABOUT ABOUT
The Arts & Education Council and Bright School are pleased to announce a special Back Row Film Series event.

Join us for a special screening of STRANGERS NO MORE, the Oscar-winning documentary about an exceptional school where children from 48 different countries and diverse backgrounds come together to learn. Many of the students arrive as refugees fleeing poverty, political adversity and even genocide. The film follows several students’ struggle to acclimate to life in a new land while slowly opening up to share their stories of hardship and tragedy. With tremendous effort and dedication, the school provides the support these children need to recover from their past. Together, the bond between teacher and student, and amongst the students themselves, enables them to create new lives in this exceptional community.

After the film, stay for a panel discussion with community leaders, "NURTURING STUDENTS TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL," and a reception in the lobby.

All ages welcome. Admission is FREE but registration is encouraged.

This event is sponsored by Patten and Patten, Inc.
